The Hanghua CTA-04 series hot-wire anemometer is a high-precision, low-temperature drift research-grade wind speed measurement instrument. It utilizes a miniature tungsten wire probe placed in a Wheatstone bridge to measure wind speed changes, featuring system stability, good time resolution, and high efficiency. This instrument can be paired with tungsten wire probes with diameters ranging from 1 micron to 25 microns to measure wind speed changes, or it can be paired with hot film probes to measure water flow velocity changes. Depending on the frequency response and measurement range, the CTA-04 series is divided into two series: the research-grade Pro series and the teaching-grade Edu series. The CTA-04 Pro meets the performance standards of mainstream international research-grade hot-wire anemometers.

Introduction:


The Hanghua CTA-04 series hot-wire anemometer is a research-grade wind speed measurement instrument known for its high precision and low temperature drift. It utilizes a miniature tungsten wire probe placed in a Wheatstone bridge to measure wind speed changes, offering features like system stability, excellent time resolution, and high efficiency. This instrument can be equipped with tungsten wire probes with diameters ranging from 1 micron to 25 microns to measure wind speed changes. It can also be paired with hot film probes to measure water flow velocity changes. The CTA-04 series is divided into two categories: the research-grade Pro series and the teaching-grade Edu series, based on frequency response and measurement range. The CTA-04 Pro meets the performance standards of mainstream international research-grade hot-wire anemometers.


Key features of this instrument include:


- Bridge response frequency exceeding 35kHz, with a maximum response frequency of 230kHz (tested with 1-micron platinum wire probe under 20m/s conditions).

- Built-in square wave testing function.

- Integrated low-pass filter with a cutoff frequency of 10-10kHz (adjustable by the user).

- Platinum resistance temperature sensor for temperature measurement (accuracy of 0.1 degrees Celsius), with automatic correction based on temperature changes.

- Optional calibrator for automatic calibration.

- Automatic balance adjustment for the hot-wire system, with automatic alarm for probe faults.

- Internal amplification and bias circuits for signal processing, with output signals within ±5V.


The teaching-grade Edu series offers slightly lower performance compared to the Pro series but is priced at only 25% of the Pro series products, making it more suitable for equipping teaching laboratories.
